Keyword

From the Search page, you can use the Keyword field to search for any word or phrase contained within a document. To enter terms into the search box:

Keyword: Sonnenaufgang

When searching in the Keyword field, you can use truncation to retrieve documents containing variations on a term. If you choose to search for more than one term, you can also combine them using Boolean and proximity searching.

Title / First Line

From the Search page, you can use the Title / First Line field to search for any word or phrase contained in the title of a work or the first line of a poem. To enter items into the search field:

Title/First Line: An die Sonne

When searching in the Title / First Line field, you can use truncation to retrieve documents containing variations on a term. If you choose to search for more than one term, you can also combine them using Boolean and proximity searching.

Author

From the Search page, you can use the Author field to limit your search to the work of a particular author. To enter items into the search field:

Author: Heine, Heinrich

When searching in the Author field, you can search for works by more than one author by using the Boolean operator or.

Period

You can use the Period search field to limit your search to a particular literary period.
